So What Do You Think About Our “Najla Said” Show?

1 Jun

Each week I’ll put in a post for the readers to enter their comments about our latest TV show.  This week it’s “Najla Said talks about her Play ‘Palestine’ “.   MECC brought her toNew   Havenin March as our contribution to international Israel Apartheid Week.  Her one woman performance of “Palestine” at Southern Connecticut State University was wonderful.  Afterward she sat at the front of the stage and talked with the audience.   We only had a little hand-held camcorder so the video isn’t sharp and the audio dim, but what she said is well worth viewing.

The show starts with a music video I came across by Phil Monsour “Ghosts of Deir Yassin” which he was gracious enough to share.  Awesome, as the kids say.   Monsour is from Australia.

We close with some video from Chicago after the NATO anti-ceremony where veterans threw back their medals.  A huge force of Chicago police made it impossible for protesters to leave easily.  A confrontation ensued and there were a hundred arrests.  We have some of the baton swinging and an angry news conference.

So what do you think of the show?  Praise, brickbats, comments, suggestions.  Click on the link below and say your piece.
